Fresh Tulips USA, LLC is specialized in the production of “fresh tulip flowers”. All our tulips are hydroponic grown which creates a completely clean product, no soil or chemicals are used.
The tulips we produce are of a premium quality in colors and shapes that are adjusted to the taste of the American consumer.

At the moment most of the tulip flowers sold at the East Coast are imported from The Netherlands or South America. These flowers already have been traveling for 3 to 4 days after harvesting before they arrive in the shops and for that reason are not that fresh anymore. The normal vase life of a tulip is around 7 days; 3 to 4 days transit time is 50% of their total life.
When producing locally, transit times will be shorter and vase life will be longer. For this reason consumers will have more time to enjoy their beautiful tulips.
“Fresh Tulips USA” aims to have the flowers at our customers within 24 hrs after harvesting. This to ensure top quality and a crispy fresh product.

In our facility in Virginia, we will produce tulips 38 weeks per year. The tulip bulbs we use will be imported from The Netherlands, France and in Chile. All bulbs used will be of top size quality and varieties will changes throughout the season.
A big part of the varieties we grow in Virginia will be different than the standard import tulip flowers. In Virginia we can grow varieties that due to climate or market circumstance are not grown in Europe or South America.

All our tulip flowers are shipped standing-up in a special designed hamper. Shipping the flowers standing-up will keep the flowers straight so the problem of bended bunches is eliminated.
The hamper also can be used as a display since the top part can easily be zipped off. The hamper also can be filled with water since it has a special coating. No repacking for sales display is needed.
The hamper is 100% made of cardboard and therefore can be recycled.


The facilities that we have in Stevensburg VA are state of the art. Our Greenhouses can be opened completely (cabriolet greenhouse) so when we have the nice Virginia weather we can actually grow our flowers outside. The product will get direct sunlight that makes the leaves greener, flower colour stronger and the plant sturdier. This direct influence of nature has a very positive impact on the flower quality and as you might know, the best quality is grown under natural circumstances.
